Mike sciara | lead pastor
Mike was born and raised on Long Island. Mike was radically saved by God’s grace while in college and immediately sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry. Pastor Mike is passionate about planting new Gospel-centered churches to reach Long Island with the love and hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Mike has received theological training from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Sioux Falls Seminary. Mike is passionate about seeing people experience a deep and personal encounter with God and discover the heart of the Father for His children.
Mike is also a licensed Architect. He and his wife Heather have been married for 19 years, and they have four sons - Matthew, Brenden, Jacob, and Nathaniel. When not serving the church, you’ll often find Mike enjoying the outdoors, reading, listening to podcasts and playing with his kids.
REBECCA KIRCHBERGER | KIDS MINISTRY LEADER
Rebecca was born and raised in Dix Hills, NY. Rebecca, who is currently pursuing a master's degree from the University at Buffalo, is a licensed special education teacher within the Half Hollow Hills school district, serving the surrounding community. Rebecca is passionate about encouraging children to know and follow Jesus. As our Kids Ministry Leader, Rebecca oversees the Sunday morning curriculum and ensures that children have a positive, safe, and educational experience when attending our ASCEND Kids programs. Always ready to greet you with a smile, in her spare time, Rebecca enjoys hiking and reading.
